Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening of the City of Boca Raton Fire Station #6

Congratulations the entire Sisca Construction team for the completion of the City of Boca Raton Fire Station # 6. On March 8, 2021 we celebrated the opening of this station with a ribbon cutting ceremony. This project was completed during a global pandemic showing that hard work and dedication can provide the ability to thrive in any circumstance is possible. We wish the City of Boca Raton Fire Dept. all the best in this new station.

Women in Construction Spotlight: Meet Doreen Hair

March is National Women’s month, and it is also currently Women in Construction week. The focus of this observance is to highlight women as a visible component of the construction industry and raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry. In recognition of this event, we would like to spotlight and recognize Doreen Hair, our Vice President of Preconstruction. Doreen has been in the construction industry for over 20 years, 9 of which have been spent at Sisca Construction. In her role at Sisca, Doreen manages and facilities all aspects of Site Plan Approval, Permitting, Utility Conveyance, Marketing and Preconstruction Services. Doreen is a LEED AP professional and holds a Green Building Certification along with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management after switching her major from Engineering. Doreen’s first job in construction was as a jobsite receptionist, a job her big sister got her for the summer while she was in school. During this time, she fell in love with construction and saw the opportunity to grow in the field and decided to change her major and make a career of it. Doreen shares that her favorite part of working in construction is watching the progress from the conception of a project to seeing the final product and being a part of it every step of the way. She also states that while construction is a male dominated field, more and more women are taking on management and executive roles in construction proving that the future of the industry is based on skills, hard work and knowledge, not just gender. When not working Doreen loves the beach, reading and spending time with her family. Doreen is a proud mom of three and her husband is an architect.

New 9,000 sq ft Margate Fire Station #58

Sisca Construction has recently been selected as the General Contractor on the new 9,000 sq ft Margate Fire Station # 58. This project is designed to mee Florida Green Building Certification Standards and we look forward to working with The City of Margate on this project.

New Eastpointe Country Club project in Palm Beach Gardens

Sisca Construction has been slected as the General Contractor for the new Eastpointe Country Club project in Palm Beach Gardens. This project consists of the Demolition of the existing Clubhouse and Construction of a new Clubhouse with ancillary elements. Elements such as, integrated pool deck with two pools, fencing, trellis, spa, fire pits and other amenities.

New Project with Jupiter Pointe Club and Marina

Sisca has been recently been awarded a new project with Jupiter Pointe Club and Marina. The project will consist of ground up construction of a new 4 story Boutique hotel and an addition to the existing Marina building.

New 21,000 sq ft Planet Fitness Gym project in Jupiter, Florida

Sisca has recently been selected and contracted for the new 21,000 sq ft Planet Fitness Gym project in Jupiter, Florida.

New Lauderhill Fire Station

Sisca has recently been awarded the contract for the new Lauderhill Fire Station #30 project. This project is a new 9,500 sq ft two (2) story Fire Station in the City of Lauderhill, Florida.
